About the Project

Completed in 2016, this third floor addition plus extension included all material selection plus decorating. After the (unexpected) news of a third child on the way these clients (Jessie’s sister!) needed to act fast. The dark cabinets set against the white herringbone backsplash, combined with brass accents and wide plank wood floors make for an inviting and warm space. The banquette, with added storage below for crafts & placemats, serves as the most used zone in the house. A spot for family dinners along with a creative nook for homework and crafts. Hardworking fabrics and materials selections needed to be carefully considered throughout the house. The result is a curated collection of thoughtfully designed custom pieces that will stand the test of time for this busy family of five.
