Our Approach
The design process can be overwhelming, with several moving parts and numerous decisions to be made. With over fifteen years of experience in the business, we have developed special relationships with trusted and highly skilled trades, craftsman and suppliers.
Our work ranges from decorating projects to new builds, custom homes and renovations of all sizes.
Each project is lead by principal designer, Jessica Kelly and is supported by a team that includes an operations manager, senior designer and associate designer. Each team member ensures flawless execution throughout the entire process.
Phase 1: Initial Consultation
Consultation Fee: $600 plus HST
The consultation is an essential first step, whether your project is a new build, a model home, or a decorating project.
Phase 1 allows the client and Jessica to get to know one another in person to determine compatibility. This two-hour consultation is also an opportunity to walk you through how we work.
We will discuss your design challenges and wishlist, while providing feedback and solutions. After the meeting, we will prepare a proposal outlining the Scope of Work discussed and the fee for the project's next phase.
Phase 2: Research, Design and Presentation
Fee: Determined after Phase 1
By this phase our team is very busy developing a design direction and overall concept for your project. All architectural finishes, colour schemes, furnishings and millwork samples are collected for your presentation. Detailed plans, elevations, reflective ceiling plans and illustrations are also prepared. Also included in your comprehensive presentation package is a set of estimates. Project budget and time lines are determined at this stage.
The fixed fee for Phase 2 is calculated after the initial consultation.
Phase 3: Project Implementation
Fee: Determined in Phase 2 after the presentation
Your project is now full speed ahead! This phase is all about monitoring every moving part carefully to ensure we meet your budget and time requirements. The finished product is a "magazine-worthy" space.
The Phase 3 fee is a percentage of the budget and calculated at Phase 2.
