About the Project

It’s not often Jessie gets to follow the design direction of one person, and one person only, but that was the case when she got the opportunity to renovate her house. Purchased after the sale of MYLILROWHOUSE … this quickly became known as MYLILTIVHOUSE. Situated on the same street as Jessie’s sister, the house is what you might call your typical Toronto semi, at just fifteen feed wide. Although Jessie has decorated and completed minor renovations in past houses, she had never fully gutted her own kitchen until now. The journey was one she really enjoyed. Working as a team with trades and suppliers, selecting finishes and walking through the creative process she so often does with clients, was extremely rewarding. The space was designed for her love of entertaining, it combines her beloved architectural treasures set against a contemporary backdrop.
