About the Project

Our clients came to us to update and open up the entire back portion of their house. The ever-popular EyeSwoon kitchen was my clients’ inspiration for the kitchen. Careful to add our spin to the design, we added rich elements, like the combination of wood and wire mesh, to the pantry. The project started at the height of the pandemic, but we were nonetheless working with a tight deadline with the due date of our client's new baby.

We removed a wall that divided the previous family room to provide more light and make for a less awkward layout. The new layout allowed for a larger, more formal dining room. The entire first floor was updated with new windows, flooring, and of course, a new kitchen, dining room, and all the furnishing.
